What is the weight on this gun out of the box?

The g48 is for sure the “Carry King” … great gun for EDC. Had mine for 5 years and never looked back. I use psa micro dagger mags as backup and run pen in the gun.

Sounds like it just comes down to personal preference and price

The staccato reminds me of a 1911 Glock Mixed I have Both 1911 and Glock also got my wife a Glock 19 my Service pistol is my 1911 my personal pistol is my Glock I Work Armed Security Site and Unarmed Security sites

I just bought my black p10c optic ready for 385 out the door I hope I did well I just didn’t want a Glock the 19 didn’t feel as well in the hand to me .. good review

i as really tempted to buy this but oem i get a about 1/4" travel before release which seems about the same

I had one years ago that was polished steel finish with ivory grips. Beautiful gun and shot really well. I still kick myself for selling it.

Just a disgrace that Glock doesn't offer OEM extended mags. The 3rd party mags are not reliable enough

Accuracy wise ? Daniels Defense ( DDM4 can print 1 7/8" groups vs my Colt LE6940 2 " 5 shot groups- equal to my BCM with the C8 sfw upper and my " lowly" Spikes Tactical M4LE firing remington 55gr 5.56 range ammo.) Maybe I don't know any better, but the 4 carbines are all rugged, well built and more accurate than i can probably shoot. Buy what you can afford. That's the best - I would look elsewhere though on the newer colt CR6920s...

An LPVO for a gun you mostly use for CQB is an interesting choice.

Agree on leaving the factory trigger reset spring. The sear spring is the one to change. Reset is crisp. Thanks for the upload.

I was not a Glock fan by any stretch of the imagination. I respected Glock pistols for the quality and reliability they provided. Then one day I was reading a review on the 19X and something clicked. I wanted one! I called my FFL and asked if could order one for me. He said “You want a Glock “. Well , he ordered it and now I have it. It’s one of my favorite pistols.😊

I'll just say it... The 4'' Shield Plus is the BEST do-all gun ever created. For me at least... It does everything supremely well, tons of mag size options depending on level of concealment needed - and the 4'' barrel shoots more accurate and better for me than my G19.

What scope is that?

Just bought one on memorial day on sale. Came with a holosun scs and 3 15 rd mags. Ive had my eye on one for a while now so i had too. Ive got 1k rds on stand by. Range day tomorrow.

BCM isnt close to DD. Better Barrel (proven), better accuracy chamber, better gas block, lifetime guarantee and warranty. Better QC. Go look at the military tests and the Vegas shooting tests. Go look and see how special ops liked the LWRC they got issued for a while... BCM isn't even a military grade weapon, they wouldnt issue them to troops. And they haven't. SOLGW; also just put together and marketing. I'm sure they are great but not DD Go see what guys in Ukraine are using; DD is considered one of the nicest rifles you can get over there they are 2500. This should be evidence of how dumb these comment sections are. I've owned both rifles btw. I could care less if Marty Daniel got trapped into answering one question at a deposition, DD is a better rifle. Its not even close.

What holster do you have that supports flashlight mount?

Curious I bought a brand new glock 48 and was wondering if everything came with it. It didn't come with a beavertail back strap. Did anyone else purchase a new g48 and did it come with the beavertail back strap tia.

I have a 19, but the slim & lighter 48 is what I often carry. Being older, with a,Stiff Belt, I carry OWB & extra mag in pocket ( more mags in console ). It is excellent

What are you using for a scope?

Bore axis, not access. Also unique to the 19M of a standard 19 are the maritime spring cups and the extended slide stop/slide release levers.

... I'd need to have tracks or wheels put on that long action BLR in 300 Win with the culvert pipe variable scope ... no way I could lug that thing thru the bush all day ... so long & heavy it handles like a pig on a shovel

The metal mag release is why they stick, Dont mod your carry gun.

It's not " european mag release " . The paddle release is standard on home market pustol. The button release is for americans who dont appreciate fine german design and cry in their Budweiser. Paddle mag release is for Connoisseurs.

nice review! My 1st gun is the P10C. really nice grip. nice trigger. it feels really attached to my hand compared to the G19x. which was around $80 cheaper. but still I chose the CZ. will just start eating less for a while to recover the extra cost 😂 I think the factory sights are really good. I just had to scratch the itch to buy Night Fision accur8 sights. (couldn't resist the discount) Your son rocks!!
